Fund raising and Grants

Fund raising is a great opportunity to earn money and get the entire community excited and be creative.

Bake sales are good, but unique events will get the community buzzing (and therefore donating). Ask local businesses to donate fun goods and services, like a dinner for two or gift cards, for a silent auction. Anything you can imagine.

 Please contact your local Mid-Atlantic Products, Inc. representative for some fund raising ideas or assistance with your fundraiser.

Research grant opportunities

Grants can cover a significant portion of your budget, so explore every opportunity within your local government agencies and non-profit associations. Start here:

• Park & Recreation Department
• Regional and local grant-making foundations that support citizen initiatives

Ask your library, mayor’s office, and local United Way—or go online—to find additional opportunities in your area.

Community Build

Depending on the complexity of your project, installation costs can range from 25% to 45% of your total budget. A community build can help you reduce those costs, and strengthen community spirit all at the same time.

Recruit local volunteers and eager parents to participate in a Build Day. Ask local companies to donate goods or services to the Build Day, from construction materials to food and beverages.

If your volunteers do not have installation experience, your Mid-Atlantic Products, Inc. representative can provide supervisory services.
